Today my Valentine got me the newest John Grisham book, The Associate. I look forward to reading anything that man writes and this new book will make me current on all of his published works. Thanks, Valentine! I got my Valentine a gift card to HairM, a unique salon in downtown Portland.---
Later, we're going to the Oregon Historical Society to celebrate Oregon's 150th birthday (Oregon, you're an old man!). Down in Salem, the original, handwritten state constitution is on display. Despite all of its problems (mostly government finances), this is a wonderful place to live and raise exchange students. I am quite happy here.
